It has been her privilege to serve so many wonderful clients over the years, but she has retired from the practice of law.

Ms. Smith has been listed in Best Lawyers in America for Trusts and Estates and as a Super Lawyer by US News and World Report for over 15 years and has again been awarded these honors for 2023. She has had a Martindale top rating of AV for ethics and ability since 2002 and was named by Thomson Reuters as a Best Woman Lawyer.

Ms. Smith was active in the Colorado Bar Trust and Estate section for most of her career. She gave many presentations and written numerous articles about estate planning, unique tax and values based planning options in light of changing tax laws.
